Famvir
Famvir (famicyclovir) is an antiviral drug. Famvir slows the growth and spread of the herpes virus so that the body can fight off the infection. Famvir shortens the length of time that herpes symptoms are present. Famvir is used to treat infections caused by herpes viruses including shingles, genital herpes, and cold sores (in people with HIV). |

Fioricet
Fioricet is a combination medication consisting of Acetaminophen, Butalbital, and Caffeine. Acetaminophen is a pain reliever and fever reducer. Butalbital (chemical name for fioricet) is in a class of drugs called barbiturates that slow down your central nervous system (brain and nerve impulses) causing relaxation. Caffeine is believed to constrict dilated blood vessels that may contribute to tension headaches. Together, acetaminophen, butalbital, and caffeine are used to relieve complex tension (muscle contraction) headaches although precisely how it works is unknown. |

Combined with rest and physical therapy, Flexeril provides relief of muscular stiffness and pain.
